Hillary Pushes To Improve Federal Health Care
In an address to senior lobby AARP, Sen. Hillary R. Clinton said the government should refocus its healthcare efforts on prevention and repairing the Medicare prescription benefit.
Her criticisms were aimed at the Bush Administration’s handling of the new Medicare Part D program, and his Social Security proposal, as well as his budget priorities.
Among Clinton’s own proposed solutions are regulations that would thin out ineffective private drug plans and improving individual’s long term care options.
